About The Service Institute

Building confident, salon-ready beauty professionals while helping salons and independent professionals create stronger teams, healthier cultures, and long-term success.

Our Mission

The Service Institute exists to bridge the gap between beauty school and real-world salon success.

We believe technical skills alone are not enough to build a thriving career. Today's beauty professionals need communication skills, professionalism, confidence, service excellence, and an understanding of salon culture.

Our mission is to prepare emerging professionals for long-term success while helping salons and independent professionals connect with talent they can trust.

Why We Created TSI

After more than 15 years as a salon owner, educator, and culture-focused leader, founder Tricia Gray saw the same challenge repeating itself throughout the industry.

Salon owners weren't struggling to find people.

They were struggling to find the right people.

Meanwhile, talented beauty school graduates were entering the industry eager to succeed but often unprepared for the pace, expectations, and professional standards required inside a successful salon environment.

The Service Institute was created to bridge that gap.
